Hi! My name is Amy Lori. I am a freelancer editor and I have spent the last four years specializing in post-production. Much of my recent work has been through JOINT editorial, working with brands such as Nike, Amazon, E.l.f Skin, Eli Lilly, Caldera Arts, etc. I have worked with other companies such as Trackland, Fortem Films, PSU's Creative Team, Pickathon, and many more! Many of the passion project short films that I've worked on have been selections at festivals including the Oregon Short Film Festival, PSU Film's Annual Showcase, and Viking's Film Festival.
As an editor, storytelling is my bridge to the world, weaving emotions and moments into narratives that resonate deeply. It's through each cut and transition that I can connect with audiences to universal experiences that unite us. My passion for editing is the force behind my creative process. It has made me push boundaries and explore different techniques. It's the same passion that ensures that each project is not just technically proficient, but also artistically compelling.
My goal as an editor is to connect deeply with each project, infusing it with emotion, meaning, and authenticity.
I believe that films should inspire, evoke empathy, and leave a lasting impact on an audience. Therefore, I want to come at each project with my own personal voice and perspectives to create authentic work that is meaningful.
